I absolutely LOVE Being a Wedding Celebrant

For me, being a Humanist Wedding Celebrant is all about celebrating love in its most personal form. I’m genuinely humbled to witness two people commit to each other in a way that is entirely their own, sharing their unique story, vulnerabilities, and strengths.

I believe deeply in the power of shared human experiences, and I find huge joy in crafting a ceremony that is inclusive, heartfelt, and perfectly reflective of who you are as a couple. It’s a true privilege to play a part in such a significant moment in your lives.

I’m authorised by the Caledonian Humanist Association to conduct legal weddings in Scotland.

Professional Experience

In addition to being a celebrant, I’ve been a Couples Counsellor for over 20 years. My therapeutic background is at the heart of my work. It means I understand the dynamics of relationships, the importance of communication, and the incredible strength found in partnership.
This unique insight allows me to connect with you on a deeper level, helping to draw out the essence of your story and create a ceremony that truly resonates with you and your guests.

More about me

Humour is a big part of my life. I love finding the sweet and funny moments in everyday life, and a lot of that joy comes from the people and animals around me.

That brings me to my first love – my dogs! (don’t tell my husband I said that!) They make me smile every day. My poodle, Coco, even works with me as a therapy dog, bringing so much joy to my clients. If you have dogs (or any animals!) in your life, I’d love to meet them. I’m also a big music lover and enjoy gigs and festivals, although I don’t rough it anymore!

My partner and I were married by a Humanist in 2010. We were so blown away by how personal the ceremony was that I knew it was a job that would bring me huge joy. And it does; it honestly doesn’t feel like work at all!

If you’d like to chat about your wedding ceremony, please feel welcome to message me. I’d love to hear from you.
